A few days ago my husband and I got up very early, it was an exceptionally warm and sunny morning here in Portland.
We decided to drive about 45 minutes south of here to Woodburn Oregon, to checkout the annual tulip festival. We arrived shortly after 9:00 AM, the sky was a gorgeous blue and played a perfect backdrop to the amazing array of colorful tulips. The words, heavenly, blissful and intoxicating all come to mind, when I think of being there that day, as it is truly magnificent and I highly recommend going there! I took particular note, to watch other people and to really look at their faces, they were beaming, grinning, happy, children were elated and I looked at my husband and said, “this place is freakin magic”.
